We are very happy to announce the first release of our ELK Manager, the first professional Elastic® stack management platform.
Sure, the world has Kibana® and a few free GUI tools, but no real dedicated management, operations, and troubleshooting tool. Kibana® has finally gotten better at this, but is still very focused on data definition, query and visualization, with a very slowly improving management module.
ELKman is laser-focused on giving operations teams a real & powerful tool to really manage their systems. Including setting and managing the ElasticSearch® configuration with recommended settings, troubleshooting, visual views and more to really see what's going on in your ELK Stack.
This clear view into the system is especially important when something is going wrong, such as when the system is slow, or a node has dropped out, or if your cluster is Status Yellow for no obvious reason.
Our goal is to make ELKman the premier tool for managing the entire ELK stack, starting with ElasticSearch® and expanding to the ever-painful Logstash®, plus the Beats®, and probably some aspects of Kibana®.
We are especially interested in providing broad and deep access and insights into real ELK systems, not just simple JSON input/output or a few index lists. Our interest lies in making sure we can manage real issues in large clusters of dozens or hundreds of nodes and terabytes of data, and bringing that type of power to smaller shops, too.
Please try ELK Manager in your Dev, Test, and Production environments and let us know what you think, what we can improve, and any suggestions or feedback you may have.
